As part of the TEMPUS C-ITS project, MRK examined the modernization of the transmission network between the traffic control centers and the traffic signal systems in the state capital of Munich. The feasibility study included a needs analysis, an assessment of the existing transmission technology, an evaluation of new transmission technologies, and the development and evaluation of migration scenarios.
