On behalf of SAENA, MRK surveyed and evaluated the current state of digital MaaS platforms in Saxony. The study analyzes technical, organizational, legal, and financial challenges and compares them with national and international best practices. A key focus was on the integration of on-demand transportation services in rural areas. The study was supplemented by surveys, expert interviews, and a networking event for public sector stakeholders. The results included recommendations for action, and the study itself serves as a foundation for further implementation in the Free State of Saxony.
