Omnipart Verkehrsdienstleistungen GmbH & Co. KG

MRK supported Omnipart in the procurement of a computerized operations control system for ten medium-sized transport companies in the Bavarian-Swabian region. The following tasks were developed as part of the project:

1. GVFG funding application (incl. weak point analysis, review of technical, economic and political feasibility),
2. Implementation planning (service description/ specification, invitation to tender, procurement),
3. Development and commissioning (project support, test operation, acceptance),
4. budget tracking, proof of use, invoice verification and approval.

An innovative component is the expansion of the AVLC functionalities to include the control of on-demand services and, in particular, timetable-based directional service operation, so that economically viable transport services that are still adapted to the mobility needs of the population can also be operated in rural areas.
