MRK supported the project during the implementation phase as project and process manager. In particular, MRK GmbH was responsible for the following topics:

• Developing the basic structure of the funding outline
• Preparation and provision of documents, taking minutes and time management
• Regular exchange, communication and moderation with the consortium partners
• Project and process management during the preparation of the funding document
• Incorporating the consortium partners’ input into the working document
• Taking on own tasks within the framework of the funding outline
• Collection of the incoming expressions of interest
• Completion of the overall document and handover to the city of Herzogenaurach as the applying local authority in time for the submission deadline
