The consolidation and provision of mobility-relevant road traffic data is also of fundamental importance for flexible, sustainable and intelligently networked mobility. As part of the Move BW project, relevant traffic data – across various modalities – is to be collected at state level and made available at a central location. In line with the open data concept, the collected data will be freely available for subsequent projects. At the same time, end users of public transport in the Stuttgart area will be able to benefit from a mobile application for intermodal routing suggestions.

As part of the project, MRK was responsible for the development of service modules for the mobility data platform and the reporting client, the quality assurance of the specifications and the programming of a homepage widget for multimodal routing suggestions. With its experience and expertise, MRK was able to make a significant contribution to the success of the project and thus to providing a basis for data-driven mobility innovations in the country.
