As part of the FreeFloat innovation program, MakSi-FM was developed as a method for improving the network-wide coordination of construction site periods and determining the resulting timetable deviations more accurately and comprehensively by taking into account the interactions between construction sites on a daily basis. The effects of roadworks on train journeys from an already planned timetable are calculated on a daily basis and taken into account in the further course. As a result of the shifts in the timing of the trains, interactions (delay transfers) with other trains arise, which can be determined during the simulation and taken into account in the timetable. Our assignment includes support services in the project as an independent expert in railroad engineering.
