The goal of the project is to provide the district with its own, eligible-for-funding, district-wide fiber-optic network in order to offer all residents of the Lake Constance District an optimal and cost-effective option for high-speed internet in the future and to connect the district’s outlying hamlets to the fiber-optic network.

• Communication and scheduling coordination with all stakeholders

MRK Media AG is being supported in its planning efforts by the company atesio. This planning takes into account all synergies with upcoming construction projects and the existing infrastructure of municipal utilities and telecommunications companies. Planning is being carried out in accordance with the funding guidelines of the VwV-Breitbandförderung (Broadband Funding Regulation) dated August 1, 2015, in order to establish an eligible broadband network for the county.
