Client: Schilling Omnibusverkehr GmbH (SOV), Hürth

Under a framework agreement, MRK is supporting Schilling Omnibusverkehr GmbH as a technical consultant in designing the structural, procedural, and systemic requirements for automated depot operations. The assignment includes analyzing and defining requirements for infrastructure, communication, positioning, and vehicle technology, as well as developing a coordinated overall concept for integrating automated driving and parking processes. Core services include the development and evaluation of zone and gate concepts, the derivation of structural and functional requirements for the depot areas, the development of communication and positioning strategies for indoor and outdoor areas, and assistance with specifications and interface definitions. In addition, simulation and evaluation methods are used to assess feasibility and operational efficiency. The goal is to establish a ready-to-implement foundation for the tendering process and commissioning of an automated e-bus depot, taking into account technical, operational, and safety-related requirements.
