Before the Landesgartenschau 2010, Rosenheim’s public transport company was faced with the challenge of coordinating the flow of passengers and providing them with information, in addition to making the site accessible. For this purpose, a passenger information concept was developed, which provides for optimum coverage via the Internet, but also via public telephones. Based on the concept, MRK was also involved in the funding application, tendering and project management during the realization up to the start of the State Garden Show exhibition. The information was integrated into the state-wide information system for real-time data of the Free State of Bavaria in time for the opening of the exhibition. The passenger information systems and the information based on real-time data will of course also be available to passengers in the long term.
