With over 85 km of route and 44 technical sites, the municipality of Buttstädt is building a forward-looking, comprehensive fiber-optic network for gigabit-capable Internet. The project will connect over 3,100 residential units using more than 700 km of fiber-optic cable. The project focuses not only on planning the technical network but also on special requirements such as railroad crossings and the protection of nature and waterways.
